Nature provided infinite possibility of creation and we created artworks based on continuous study and experience from past to present.
There are organisms that pursue changes while following to certain rules – order and harmony in nature. These organisms consists of cells. Unit cells show various change in forms at each stage during the course of creation, growth, dividing and extinction. The course of change produce unpredictable ‘organism’ and organic forms themselves contain elements of infinite fantasy.
By analyzing cell forms and shapes 2 dimensional images are rendered that can be considered from the subject. These are then translated into silicone which is synthetic resin. Kwon focuses on texture and materiality and transparency of silicone.
